The tour includes a gentle walk of around 5 kilometres through Brontë Country. Your guide will choose the most suitable route on the day depending on conditions, but you can expect easy to moderate walking through some of the beautiful landscapes that inspired the Brontë sisters. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended.

This tour is designed for guests aged 16 and over. It combines literary history, sightseeing and a gentle countryside walk, making it ideal for older teenagers and adults who enjoy exploring at a relaxed pace.

Yorkshire weather can change quickly, so we recommend dressing in layers and bringing a waterproof jacket. Comfortable trainers are perfectly suitable for the walk, and you'll be able to enjoy the day without needing specialist walking boots.
